Giannozzo Manetti (M / Italy, 1396-1459), scholar

Giannozzo Manetti (1396-1459) was an Italian scholar.

Manetti produced a new translation of the whole New Testament into Latin from the Greek. He studied Hebrew and had also planned to translate the Old Testament from the Hebrew, but died before accomplishing his project.
