Biography

Gabi (Rachel Gabriele) Goslar was born October 25, 1940 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where the family had moved from Germany, after the election of Adolf Hitler. The mother died in childbirth. On June 20, 1943, the family, including her sister Hennelli Goslar (1928), was taken to Westerbork, then to Bergen-Belsen. Gabi and her sister survived and were finally evacuated on board of the Troebitz Train. The two sisters went back to Amsterdam and then emigrated to Israel.
