Fred Rosner (M / Germany, 1936), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Rosner was born in 1936 and grew up in Berlin, Germany where, at the age of three, he and his brother were on the last of the Kindertransport boats to the United Kingdom. After the 2nd World War ended, Rosner immigrated to the United States, where he became Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Director of the Department of Medicine at Queens Hospital Center.
