Fishel Blumsztajn / Fiszel Blumenstajn (M / Poland, 1929), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Fishel Blumsztajn was born in 1929 in Piaseczno, Poland, to Chaim and Ciwia. He was in the Warsaw Ghetto from January 1940 to February 1941.

He was deported to Mniszew, Skarzysko-Kamienna, KZ Czestochowa, and Buchenwald.

Eventually, he ended up in Theresienstadt, where he was liberated in May 1945.

He arrived in England with the Windermere Children in August 1945. Emigrated to the United States in February 1955.
