Biography
Fischel "Felix" Berger was born in 1927 in Wloszczowa, Poland, one of the six children of Simcha and Chaya. He was the only to survive.
He lived with his family in the Lodz Ghetto. He was deported to Auschwitz and transferred to Flossenburg, and KZ Dresden. He eventually ended up to Theresienstadt, where he was liberated in May 1945.
In August 1945 he went to England among the Windermere Children.
He studied at Glasgow University Veterinary Sciences School and lived in Southern England.
