Aldo Garosci (1907–2000) - Politician

Garosci was born in Meana di Susa. After graduating his study in Law in 1929, he began his political career by joining Giustizia e Libertà.

On 12 January 1932 he fled to France. In 1936 he then went to fight in Spain.

After the German invasion of France, he fled to North Africa. He eventually arrived in New York in August 1941. He joined the Mazzini Society.

In 1943 he went back to Italy, crossed the lines and joined the Resistance.

After the war, he had a career as a University Professor of History.
