Eliseu Visconti / Eliseo d'Angelo Visconti (Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy, 1866 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1944), artist

Bon in Italy, in 1884 Visconti entered the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios do Rio de Janeiro, where he studied under Victor Meirelles. Visconti is considered one of the very few impressionist painters of Brazil and the initiator of the art nouveau in Brazil. Died in Brazil.
