Antonio Ravalli (1812-1884) -- Jesuit priest & missionary

Born in Ferrara (Italy), Ravalli joined the Jesuits and was ordained a priest in 1843. He came as a missionary to the United States. He remained active in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States among native Americans. Died in Stevensville, Montana. In 1893 Ravalli County, Montana was named after him.
