Luca Cambiaso (Moneglia, Italy, 1562 - Madrid, Spain, 1585) -- Painter.

Born in Liguria, Luca Cambiaso (Cangiasi) was active mostly in Italy. In 1583 Cambiaso accepted an invitation from Philip II to complete for the Escorial a series of frescoes begun by Giovanni Battista Castello (with whom he had formed in Italy a close-knit team). His son, painter Orazio Cambiaso, who had accompanied him, went back to Italy after his father's death in 1585.
