Erodiàs <Italian> / Herodias (1998) is a Ravenna stage production of Erodiade (Herodias / 1969 Testori), play, directed by Federico Tiezzi.
Abstract
In 1991-92 Giovanni Testori wrote another revised version of his Erodiade (published posthumously as Erodiàs in 1994). This third version was first staged at the Ravenna Festival in 1998 by Sandro Lombardi. The actor reprised the role in many performances, of which the most notable is the one staged at the Maggio Musicale 2008 in Florence, Italy: Cortile del Bargello, 13 May 2008.
