Biography

Ela Demonstein was born August 8, 1942 in Zagreb, Croatia, to Ljudevit and Sabina Demonstein. The family was interned in Italian KZ camps in Dalmatia at Kraljevica and Arbe. After Sept 1943 they were among those refugees who arrived in liberated Italy. They were at DP Bari in February 1945.
