Dušan Glumac / Душан Глумац (1899-1980) was a Serbian scholar. Born at Trnjani [now Bosnia], Glumac studied in Zagreb [Croatia] and Berlin [Germany] and earned his PhD from the University of Leipzig [Germany]. In 1926 he was appointed assistant professor of biblical history and archeology at the Theological Faculty of the Serbian Orthodox Church, becoming full Professor of Old Testament in 1945. In 1955 he moved to the Faculty of Philosophy at the Department of Archaeology, where he taught as a professor until his retirement.
