Overview
The concept of creation would become one of the most distinctive concept of Judaism in antiquity. In the biblical tradition there are different ways to describe creation.
Creation as a genealogical process
The earliest accounts of creation still betrays the mythological perspective of creation. The narrative of Gen 2ff. promises to unveil the toledot, i.e. the genealogies, of the earth.
