Contra historiam Aristeae de LXX interpretibus dissertatio <Latin> (1684) is a book by Humphrey Hody.

Abstract

"In qua probatur illam a Judo aliquo confictam fuisse ad conciliandam authoritatem versione Grc : et claris doctissimique viri D. Isaaci Vossii aliorumque defensiones ejusdem examini subjiciuntur."

For the first time the authenticity of the Letter of Aristeas was openly questioned as a late forgery by a Hellenistic Jew.

Reprinted in 1705 with additions and a reply to Isaac Vossius' defense of the authenticity of the document (published in 1686 in the appendix to his Observations on Pomponius Mela).
