Church of the Transfiguration (1924) is a Roman Catholic church built by Antonio Barluzzi on Mount Tabor, Israel.

Overview

Antonio Barluzzi built the Franciscan church between 1919 and 1924, on the location traditionally believed to be the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. He also designed the interior decoration including the huge mosaic of the Trasfiguration in the central apse.
