Charlotte Maria Tucker (F / Britain, 1821-1893), novelist

Charlotte Maria Tucker (1821-1893) was a British novelist. An author of children's books, under the pseudonym A.L.O.E. (A Lady Of England) wrote several novels on biblical subject. In 1875 went to India for missionary work; she remained there until her death.
