Charles T. Fritsch (1912-1989) was an American scholar.

Biography

A 1935 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Charles T. Fritsch earned his PhD from Princeton University in 1940. He spent his entire teaching career at Princeton Theological Seminary, joining the staff as an instructor in 1937 and retiring as the William Henry Green Professor of Old Testament Literature in 1979.

As an archeologists, Fritsch led many expeditions to the Holy Land, especially to Caesarea Maritima.
