Cesare Ippolito Enrico de Horatiis (1812-1863) was an Italian playwright, Catholic priest and patriot. Born at Furci [Italy] on 15 February 1812 from a noble family, Cesare De Horatiis was a Catholic priest. Became a popular public figure as an outspoken supporter of Giuseppe Mazzini and the Italian Risorgimento. Died in Ortona [Italy] on 10 October 1863.
