Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn (1876-1916)

In Mark Twain's imagination, the characters of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are closely related to each other. Both are featured in all adaptations of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" (sometimes also incorporating elements and situations taken from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn). Often the adaptations of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" are followed by an adaptation of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" (made with the same cast).
