Joshua ben Sie was the Jewish High Priest, 3 BCE, under Herod Archelaus.

Overview

Joshua ben Sie was appointed High Priest in 3 BCE by Herod Archelaus, succeeding a member of the House of Boethus, Eleazar ben Boethus.

Joshua was eventually replaced by another member of the House of Boethus, Joazar ben Boethus, who had been high Priest before in 4 BCE under Herod the Great.
