Ishmael ben Phiabi II was the Jewish High Priest, 56-62 CE, under Roman Governor Festus and Emperor Nero.

Overview

Ishmael ben Phiabi II was appointed by Herod Agrippa II. He succeeded Jonathan ben Ananus and served from 56 to 62 CE under the Roman Governor Festus and Emperor Nero.

In 62 he was succeeded by Joseph ben Simon.
