Bruder Jesus: Der Nazarener in jüdischer Sicht (1967) is a book by Schalom Ben-Chorin.

Abstract

Contrary to David Flusser, Ben-Chorin argues that Jesus was a Rabbi, closest to the Pharisees, and did not make any messianic claim. "Jesus understood himself as just this human, who lives in his humanness as an example, vulnerable and exposed to suffering. When Jesus calls himself the Son of Man, he stands before us not as prophet or messiah, but as brother."
