Bill McIver

William "Bill" McIver (1942-2003) was an American singer and actor. From 1952 to 1955, he succeeded Chet Allen as the protagonists of the annual performances of Amahl and the Night Visitors (1951 Menotti), opera, directed by the composer and broadcasted live on NBC. Like Allen he was a boy soprano and a member of Columbus Boychoir, located at Princeton, NJ. A graduate from Oberlin College, he became in his adulthood a well respected conservatory teacher and president of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
