Antonio Ghislanzoni (1824-1893) was an Italian poet, journalist and librettist. Born in Lecco, Lombardy, was politically involved in the Italian Risorgimento. Worked as a journalist and then from 1869, as a librettist for numerous composers, including Giuseppe Verdi.
