Anita Trueman Pickett (1881-1960) was an American novelist. Born in Cleveland, OH, Anita Trueman Pickett attended Emerson College, Meadville Theological Seminary, and Harvard Divinity School. In 1921, she was ordained to the Unitarian ministry at Woburn, MA and appointed in 1922 as clerk for the American Unitarian Association's Department of Religious Education. Public speaker, poet, author, preacher of "New Thought" philosophy, Anita Trueman served congregations in Rowe, Bedford, Barnstable, and Ware, MA; and was co-pastor with her husband, the Rev. Harold L. Pickett, in Peabody and Medfield, MA. She died in Kingston, NY.
