Altjudisches Schriftum ausserhalb der Bibel (1928) is a book by Paul Riessler.

Abstract

Fifth major collection of OT Pseudepigrapha, in German translation (as in Fabricius and Migne, and contrary to Kautzsch and Charles, the OT Apocrypha were not included).

Riessler published 88 documents with the goal to collect all ancient Jewish texts from the Biblical period, outside the (Roman Catholic) canon. Philo and Josephus were excluded, but only because their works were deemed too long to fit into a one-volume collection.
