Alberto Colantuoni (1874-1959) was an Italian playwright, journalist, and librettist. Alberto Colantuoni was born April 25, 1874 in Trieste [Italy, then part of the Augsburg Empire]. A fervent patriot, he moved to Milan, where he lived the rest of his life, working as a journalist, playwright and librettist. Colantuoni died in Milan [Italy] in December 26, 1959.
