Abraham ben Samuel Zacuto (M / Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, 1452-1515), scholar

Abraham ben Samuel Zacuto (1452-c1515) was a Spanish Jewish scholar, rabbi, astronomer, astrologer, mathematician and historian. With the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492, he moved to Portugal and then to Tunisia and the Ottoman Empire. His history of the Jews from Creation to 1500 enjoyed great esteem and respect.
