Abraham Schalit (1898-1979), scholar

Abraham Chaim Schalit (1898-1979) was an Isreali scholar.

Biography

Born in Galicia, settled in Palestine in 1929. Professor at Hebrew University from 1950. Classical historian and philologist. Specialized on Josephus and the Herodian period.
