משפטו ומותו של ישו הנוצרי / The Trial and Death of Jesus (1968) is a nonfiction book by Haim Cohn.

Abstract

Cohn, a distinguished member of the Supreme Court of Israel, argued that it was the Romans, not the Sanhedrin, who tried and executed Jesus, thus absolving Jesus from any charge according to Jewish law. The book had a great and positive impact in the Jewish-Christian relations in the aftermath of the Second Vatican Council as it was understood as a Jewish answer to Nostra Aetate.
