Книга Аль-Коран аравлянина Магомета (1790) is a Russian edition of L'Alcoran de Mahomet (1647 Du Ryer), book. Translated from the French by Mikhail I. Verevkin.
Abstract
This Russian translation of the Qur'an also was based on the French translation by André Du Ryer. Pushkin used Verevkin's translation when writing his "Imitations of the Koran," see Подражания Корану (Imitations of the Qur'an / 1826 Pushkin), poetry.
