Ancient Rage (1995 Wile), novel
Ancient Rage (1995) is a novel by Mary Lee Wile.
Abstract
A dialogue between Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, and [[Mary of Nazareth], the mother of Jesus, on the meaning of their sons' deaths. Elizabeth is bitter, as God informed Zacharias rather than her that her son would be a prophet, and accuses Jesus of betrayal, as he did not raise John from the dead as he did with Lazarus. Mary explains the necessity in the light of Jesus' mission.
