Abstract
It is the first book entirely dedicated to the reseach of this Early Christian text that is known in different languages of the Eastern Christian tradition. It deals with the date and place of its origin, the author also analyzes cultural-historical circumstances of its appearance and the peculiarities of its literary form. The book contains a translation of the Syriac text into Russian.
