Bahāyla Mikā’ēl, an Ethiopian monk wrote the Book of the Mystery of Heaven and Earth with quotations and interpretations from 1 Enoch.

Zar'ā Yā'eqob, king of Ethiopia (1426-1460) wrote Maṣḥāfa Milad the Book of nativity, an apologetic text with several quotations from 1 Enoch, in view of defending the Christian faith.
