Ancient Rage (1995) is a novel by Mary Lee Wile.

Abstract

A dialogue between Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, and Mary, the mother of Christ, on the meaning of their sons' deaths. The first one is bitter, accuses God of betrayal, the second explains the necessity in the light of Jesus' mission.
