Arent Jan Wensinck (1882–1939) was a Dutch scholar.

Biography

Arent Jan Wensinck studied Semitic languages at the Universities of Leiden, Berlin and Heidelberg. In 1912 he was appointed Professor at the Univerisity of Leiden, where he spent his entire academic career.
