Abstract
It is the first book that is entirely dedicated to the reseach of this Early Christian text that is known in different languages of the Eastern Christian tradition. The book deals with the date and place of its origin, analyzes cultural-historical circumstances of its appearance and the peculiarities of its literary form. THe book contains the translation of the Syriac text into Russian.
