Kidāna Wald keflē (1862-1944), scholar

He has edited the traditional Ethiopian commentary on the Book of Ezekiel in 1924, including elements of Jewish biblical interpretation. He has also published a Ge’ez-Amharic dictionary in which cognates of other ancient languages like Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic and Greek are indicated.

Heruy waldasellāssē (1878-1938), scholar

He has written a biography mainly of the Apostles Peter and Paul, based especially on N.T sources. Referring to historical contexts, the work suggests reasons for which various letters of the Apostles were written.
