Ethiopian Traditional Commentary of The Four Gospels (1917 E.C. Walda-Rufā’ēl & Gabra-Madhen), edited volume

This is a verse by verse commentary of the four gospels. A verse, a clause or an expression is first translated from Ethiopic into Amharic. This is often followed by a theological commentary. Plurality of meanings or various levels of interpretation are introduced by the term Andemtā which could mean: “another says”.
