Olivier Artus (b. 1954) is a French scholar, director of the École des langues et civilisations de l'Orient ancien (ELCOA) at the faculté de théologie et de sciences religieuses of the Institut catholique in Paris. He is a current member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission

Biography

Born in 1954. Catholic Priest, teaches Sacred Scripture at the Catholic Institute of Paris. Artus is director of the Ecole des langues et civilisations de l'Orient ancien. He is a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission.
