William Oscar Emil Oesterley (1866-1950) was a British scholar, professor of Hebrew and Old Testament exegesis at King’s College, London, from 1926.

Works on Second Temple Judaism

Oesterley published extensively on the Bible, the Apocrypha, Hellenistic Judaism, and Jewish history.
