Jean Morin (1591-1659) was a French scholar.

Biography

Morin edited the Samaritan Pentateuch and Targum, in the Paris Polyglott, and gave the first impulse to the scholarly study of the Samaritan dialect and tradition, which he acquired by the study of manuscripts newly brought to Europe
