Abstract

Contains translations of Early Chrisitan texts that belong to the genre of the Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles. Some of the texts had not been known to the specialists in the field before the publication, because they were still inedited.

Each text is provided with introduction into its history and scientific notes.

In the Introduction the author deals with the problems that emerge while studying this area of Early Christian Literature, and she shows a special role of the Syriac Literature in the developing of the genre.
