József Zsengellér (b. 1966) is a Hungarian scholar.

Biography

PhD (1998) in Theology at the University of Utrecht. 1998-2011: Professor at the Reformed Theological Academy (Pápa). Since 2010: Professor and Chair at the Department of History of Ancient Religions, Faculty of Theology of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University (Budapest). With Stefan Schorch he is currently preparing the critical edition of the Samaritan Pentateuch.
