Alessandro Turchi (1578-1649) was an Italian artist.
Biography
Born in Verona [Italy], Alessandro Turchi had a difficult childhood, begging with his blind father (from which he gained the nickname L'Orbetto). He managed to study and become a renowned painter, being active in Verona, Mantua, Venice and very successfully from 1614, in Rome, where he died in 1649.
