Charles Godfrey Woide (1725-1790) was a German British scholar.

Biography

Born to a German family in the Polish city of Leszno, was a pastor of the Reformed church there. In 1768 moved to Britain and worked as a librarian at the British Museum. First editor of the New Testament text according to the Codex Alexandrinus.
