The Norwegians are an ethnic group that primarily inhabit Norway and speak the Norwegian language (circa 12 million worldwide).

Most Norwegians today live within the borders of independent Norway (circa 4 million). There are Norwegian minorities in nearby Sweden, and sizeable populations of immigrants and their descendants in the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Australia.
