Jason ben Simon (2nd century BCE) was the Jewish High Priest, from 175 to 172 BCE.

Overview

Jason, son of Simon II, was a member of the House of Zadok. He ruled as High Priest, from 175 BCE (when he deposed his brother Onias III), to 172 BCE, when he was deposed by the non-Zadokite Menelaus.
