Theodor Bibliander (Theodor Buchmann; 1506-1564) was a Swiss scholar, orientalist, philologist of Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and Arabic, and a specialist in Apocalyptic Studies and Early Islamic Studies. The father of Biblical research in Switzerland.
