James Strong (1822-1894) was an American scholar and novelist.

Biography

Methodist biblical scholar and educator. Born in New York, NY. Professor of Biblical Literature at Troy University (1858-1861), and of Exegetical Theology at Drew Theological Seminary (since 1868).
